Hello and welcome I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered mental health professional (member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP). I offer a person centred counselling service for adults of all ages; face to face (when COVID-19 restrictions allow) in South Devon near to Totnes and Torbay and by telephone or online video call using FaceTime or Zoom.

Spaces available at a reduced fee for NHS staff.

Why counselling?

When you are feeling low, lost, stressed, anxious, depressed or experiencing relationship issues talking to a counsellor can really make a difference. Help with these difficulties can be achieved by a process of self-exploration within a safely held, honest, predictable and trusting counselling relationship.

What is it like working with me?

I understand that deciding to see a counsellor can be a difficult process. You might be feeling uneasy, vulnerable, confused or overwhelmed I’m sensitive and easy to talk to and will listen closely to your needs focusing on the relationship between us.

In our relationship, I will provide warmth, openness, empathy, trust and sensitivity. With these qualities, it is always my intention to hold a safe space for you to explore your inner experience without judgement and create the potential for you to feel more at ease.

Please feel welcome to get in touch with me to discuss any queries you may have about counselling or mentoring with me. I am happy to arrange a one-hour reduced fee (£30) introductory session in my peaceful room in South Devon close to Totnes and Torbay. This can help you to get a feel for whether I might be the right therapist for you and gives you an opportunity to ask me any questions. It also allows me to understand your needs and issues more thoroughly and to see if my approach is appropriate for you.

If we feel that we can work together then we can arrange to talk on a more regular basis ideally weekly each session lasting for one-hour and costing £45. I have a limited number of concessionary spaces.
